My take on a doner kebab. Something we all looked forward to after a night in Brussels. Made with garlic naan, left over steak, leftover cucumber romaine, and subbed chobani peach for regular freak yogurt to make the sauce. It's not Brussels but it's mine.

I'm getting more comfortable with the new kamado, here's a boneless ribeye from last night.

No pics from tonight but it looked similar to Mark's plate: grilled burgers and dogs, cole slaw, baked beans, mac & cheese, and peach cobbler for dessert. The only side not fully homemade by Mrs. S was the baked beans, and she doctored them enough that they were practically homemade anyway.

Don’t mind the plate... fresh Lake Huron perch, homemade fries, doctored up beans and some slaw!

First course tonight: roast herb pie, very minimal.

Main course: Veal cooked in red tomato sauce with onion, garlic, red peppers (not too hot), and a little of cinnamon and /or nutmeg. Rice as an accompaniment. Plus the inevitable feta cheese.

Which is not conceivable without good bread

Soft-ish graviera from Epirus and a harder one from Crete, to go with pure Xinomavro (Blacksour) varietal wine from the Western Macedonia region of Greece.
