Double like (1 Viewer)

Don’t know if it’s me or not but I used to be able press and hold the like button at the buttom of a post and then choose any emoji. Now, no matter how hard (gently) I try, the first press auto posts the thumbs up one and then I have to press like again to change it into another one.

I’m on Iphone/Safari

Not a big deal, just mildly annoying.

Omg now it worked for me as well. Just needed to embarrass myself a little apparently. Maybe my thumbs have gotten too fat.

I don’t even own a PC anymore. Just have the work laptop and like to keep the private use on it to a minimum. I owned one of the first versions of Ipad but never really saw the point and didn’t upgrade beyond that one.

So I’m 99% relying on the phone for everything.

Nope you are 100% right. This was very annoying and just stopped using the like function because of it. Does seem to be fixed now.

Yeah something changed a few months back. Hitting the like icon brings up a browser menu instead of the different emoji options. Have to tap out of the menu then select an emoji.

Android, using chrome.

It's a 'touchy' situation.

It works like this for me. Android 15 / Edge

a quick tap will like the post
a touch and release (correctly timed) as soon the as the emoji options open keeps those option there for you to choose from.
a longer press brings up the browser menu
