What an emotional roller-coaster I was on while reading this thread:

• Excitement over seeing such a unique piece of LV history,
• Desire (or maybe lust?) to own it,
• Disappointment knowing that I probably couldn't afford it,
• Sadness for my children after deciding to use their college fund to bid for it anyway,
• Relief after seeing that it had sold, thus knowing that my kids' future is secure for a bit longer.
