Not Mine Ebay ceramic chips (from nasty Inkster, MI strip club) brand new 1,000 for $160 BIN (1 Viewer)

Damn it that is close too.

I wonder if it is still available.

I can't message the seller unless I reactivate my Facebook and I hate Facebook.

What is the black box towards the right? Anyone know?

My wife said now all's I need is a stripper pole for the basement... Lol

I would guess it's a hole for a shuffler.

If you really want it I could message the guy and get his phone number. I'm sure its probably still available, only posted 4 days ago.

I'm gonna have my wife send him my number tomorrow. I appreciate it though.

Thats a nice table for $200. I’d buy the matching lamp legs from the Christmas story to hold it up!! :ROFLMAO:

Can you imagine what probably happened on that felt? I just hope it had scotchgard liberally applied prior to “use”.
It is a cool table and those chips look really nice btw. If he still has shuffler it’s a great deal!

Dang it! Wife messaged him and then the listing was removed. It must have sold.

Bummer.

So about these chips.....

I'm not sure who the manufacturer is. I know very little about ceramic chips and these are mostly a novelty to me. I don't think they are chipcos as I think chipcos might be a little more durable. They fit nicely in a Paulson rack but are a bit loose in a chipco rack.

So, in my haste to open them I flung a barrel all over the place in my basement, they are pretty slippery. The chips that hit the cement floor chipped.

So then my OCD kicked in and having damaged chips in a 1000 chip set wasn't gonna work for me. I hit up the seller to see what he had left and just put in an additional order. Once all said and done the set will work as a two table cash set with the following breakdown;

200 tan frac
300 blue $1
400 red $5
200 green $25
20-25 grey $100

So yeah, I know that is over 1000 chips now but I can adjust depending on the stakes, plus I have extras on top of that should I drop anymore.

I'm pretty sure the seller will be listing up two more 1000 chip sets in the future. I figured I would give a heads up to anyone who may be interested. The seller has been great to deal with.

Oh and @mike32 I'll have a sample set for ya on the 20th!

Edit: looks like he has already listed some up.

I’d also say not Chipco because no white ring and look a little glossier than most chips. Looking forward to seeing them in person. Are the cards paper or plastic?

Paper and they seem super cheap. No manufacturing markings at all.

I wonder if there are cash chips out there somewhere with actual denoms. Either way I think these are fun.

Silver lining that you damaged the chips. 990 or so chips would drive me crazy. 2100 with extras would not. Congrats. Nice pick up for a nice price.

A couple years ago custom plastic flying aces cards were for sale on eBay. The seller claimed he was stiffed by the casino after making them. The charity casino closed abruptly, I drive by it almost every day and you can see the old sign still blacked out on the roof of the place. One of our league members (Kevin) actually played there.

For a short time they held charity poker at the wonderful "Flight Club" strip bar located in Inkster, MI. I think it was a really bad idea that hardly got off the ground. The boobs that were in charge did not realize how much trouble alcohol, naked chicks and gambling would bring to this fine establishment. The management really muffed it.

Triva - Back in the 60's this was a regular bar called the Skylark and it was where my dad wrote my mom's phone number on his matchbook, which eventually led to me!
I have a good story from there I'll save for a meet up. Woulda snap bought em. Great find!!

Love hearing these kinds of stories and antidotes. Keep them coming.

Mine are supposed to be here Saturday. I'll check out the reds and see what we have between the 2 of us.
Sounds good! I might see what the seller has on hand as well but Saturday isn't too far off either.

They actually came in today. Came with some of the cards as well, so I'm good on those. Thanks for your offer though.

As for the reds, all of mine definitely look like your newer reds (more orange-red than your original pink-reds).

I figured you'd probably get some cards, that's why I held off on sending anything. Nice looking chips!

I'll see if the seller has the shade I'm looking for.

Never use these, but thinking about selling to help fund some other sets I'm looking at. @Sprouty how have yours been holding up?

I don't use them at all. They are super slick and after chipping the ones that I dropped I didn't want to use them. They are a novelty to me and I have other sets that I like getting into rotation.

What's your breakdown?

375 red
200 blue
150 green
25 white
250 tan

Seems like a weird breakdown. But I’m pretty sure I counted correctly. Agree that they are slick. Unwrapped one barrel of each just to check out but that’s as far as I got.
