Trade El Dorado Club 1’s and .50 for other Cali cardroom chips (1 Viewer)

Hello,

I just picked up quite a few 1’s and 0.50’s from the El Dorado Club in Gardena, CA. The casino closed in the 80’s and eventually was torn down to make room for Larry Flint’s Hustler Casino. They are all in casino worn condition, with ample amounts of hooker juice, and rounded edges. The 0.50’s are hot stamped, but all of the foil is gone. I’d like to trade for similar condition Cali colored casino chips (thc mold). A while back I almost pulled the trigger on a set of HP’s, but couldn’t bring myself to do it. Let me know what you have. I cleaned and oiled a few, here’s a pic.

Cool chips, glwt! Don’t take this wrong, but you could probably go a little lighter on the oil, though I know those old chips are thirsty.

Lol, I had just applied it and was going to let them sit for a while before wiping off the excess.

Damn, I was planning on bidding on those tomorrow, was gonna figure out how to drive down and get them, glad somebody local got em at least. Looked like there were some racks of mint fracs mixed in too?

Yeah I was the high/only bidder on these...... the guy gave me some bs story about his family members wanting the chips and canceled the auction...... oh well i was pretty sure I would have gotten out bid.........

He initially offered me the whole lot for 495 dollars...... but by the time I got back to him a few hours later he changed his mind and said he wanted to wait and let the auction run it's course..... I figured he was talking to a few people.....

Hope you got them for a good price..... good pickup on these I'm sure.

The numbers he quoted me added up to like 12100 chips!

I didn’t really look through them when I went to pick them up, but he did tell me that some family members had taken some. There were no yellow or green tourney chips, no hundos, and I didn’t see any mint fracs. I haven’t really had a chance to unpack them and look through them all, so I’m hoping some will appear. Regardless, still a good deal I think.

As far as the total, I’d say it’s around 12k...there were three paulson shipping boxes that each held 25 100 ct chip boxes and 2 big bins half full of chips in chip boxes.

If you don’t have any of what I’m looking for and would like some of these chips, I’ll also be selling the fracs and 1’s by the rack. I’ll put up a separate post a little later today.
