Just completed the purchase of a set of Bourgogne et Grasset chips from @denizzz. These are from Lithuania. If you are not familiar with B&G, they are a high-quality chipmaker who manufacture chips that are not clay, but instead similar to Bud Jones or Matsui. These ships are very nice in general and, nicer, IMO, than my samples of the recent Matsui Horseshoe GB. Certainly they are not a slippery, which was my main gripe about the Matui's. The chips are heavier than standard casino chips, in the range of 14g each. The exceptions are the all white 1 Lita chips, which weigh in at only 7g, and the oversized 500 Lita chip, at nearly 16g. This is noticeable when shuffling, but even more so in a birdcage, where the extra weight is worrisome and could cause the carrier to fail. Overall, I am very happy with these chips, especially considering the price of around US 60¢/chip after international shipping.
