Finally got some Piatnik bridge jumbo.. (1 Viewer)

@MatB opinion on the cards last night? any cards you prefer over these piatniks?

I was just about to post..

I think they might be the nicest cards i've played with. Personally LOVE the jumbo index. Nice design, and handle very well.

I'm ordering some as we speak. Just need to find someone to chop the shipping costs !!

PM me we can work something out, i freaking love them

Right now i can get 3 red and 3 blue decks for $82 shipped.

Seems a little high. but not many options out there.

I dont care either way about jumbo vs regular index. but a lot of older crowds prefer jumbo due to inability see the board in flop games

Makes sense. The flop could be the issue. My table is 54" and when I first set up the table, I took great care to adjust the overhead light just right (watts and distance from table) and even have some peripheral lighting, while trying to maintain a fun atmosphere.

Ironically, one of my greatest bluffs was when I thought I had a straight... And that was with jumbo cards. My brother is still pissed about that one.

I'm a bit disappointed in COPAG. I watched my player shuffle the deck and the Kc corner bent. There is no damage to the card, etc., the corner just bent as he shuffled. I sent them the card, 4 aces, and the warranty card. They returned my 4 aces, my Kc, and a new Kc, but said there was no defect. So, they replaced the card, but not the entire deck. I did not look at the new Kc closely, because I don't want to know if it looks different than the rest of the deck. But I've had this deck in play for 5 years.

I might write them and tell them I'm not happy, but honestly I don't want another deck, or anything from them. I'm moving on from COPAGs. A tad slippery.
