I just can't get over how these finished chips always come out. It looks like each chip is done precisely to a specific tight standard. In a world where "W/E it's good enough" is given to people all the time @Josh Kifer seems to really go the extra mile. That kind of dedication and hard work deserves to be acknowledged.

All those poor bright and beautiful chips! Murdered!! At least lie to me and tell me they had dogs pooping hot stamps on them... wait ai would love those even more!! Lol

Can't wait to seewhat these beauties are turning into! I hope tropical and palm trees all over them!!!

Awesome job Kifer!

Not mine. They are for a PCFer for his project.

yeah, it's super smooth and a nice clean finish. I for one was kinda confused because sometimes the milling it isn't balls dead centered on the chip, but when I got real casino chips neither are they. In my mind it enhances the emulation of the real deal.

Yeah, I center the chip, but you'll find molds are often not centered in the chip. So the mill will be centered but the mold will be a smidge off. But I think if you can post a set of milled and they match a set of standard THCs, your doing pretty well.

How do you handle slightly off-center stamps?

My jig allows for me to bump slightly to one side of needed. So I can move a edge up to try and assist with that. It's minimal, so larger starbursts and some stamps will leave foil. At that point, you'd need to use am xacto knife to scrape any foil if it's a deal breaker.

Looks like you've got the depth dialed in nicely. I know I've asked you this before, but curious how the bit is holding up. Still using the original magnate brand for the 7/8 cuts?

I swap bits every 10k-12k chips. The old ones still cut, you can just tell it's needing some extra pressure.
