First chips for a new chipper! (2 Viewers)

Yeah, my suits and PAULSON CHIPS mold chips all fit 66.7 perfectly as well. The chips in question are my Silks $1s. I don't think I've noticed it with any of my other THC chips, such as Aztar $25s, Empress and PCA $5s, hotstamped fracs, and whatever else I may have kicking around. No detectable warping on the Silks $1s, but those things are chalky mint. You have to squeeze them together to fit in the 66.7 racks. I know @Weckedy has some, and @liftapint and @DMZ used to have some. Did you all notice this at all?

That sounds familiar ... i'll need to take another look. Right now they are sitting in Paulson Racks, so ill know the minute i try to pick up a barrel.

Not sure who you are asking exactly, but i got mine from @Hedge, @liftapint and some from an associates of lifts.

I got most of mine from the original source, a few racks from DMZ and some via Weckedy. I think @luckbox also has some $1s. It's possible I wound up with yours via DMZ or via Weckedy via Hedge or liftapint, but I don't recall a direct purchase.

To to OP, that's a great start! I started out with mixed molds as well. I still have the set, but I haven't put it into play in years. I look forward to seeing your set in play; the chips go well together.

Yes, the two racks you got from me originally came from BGinGA.

I have noticed that some of my Paulsons, particularly casino ones fit great in the 66.7 mm racks and others, typically four suits mold, tend to be a little too tight or not even fit in there. For those, I often use the Chipco racks, which I believe are 67.0 mm. I've wondered if home chips simply have slightly wider tolerances during production.

Sorry to derail the post again ...
Just check my silks this morning. They look and fit perfectly in their racks ... Their 67.7 racks ...

I tried to put them is Paulson racks it's defiantly a snug fit, but it's doable. For some reason, the black inlays are the most trouble some? Depending on the barrel, some won't fit 20 to the barrel without some forced help.

Got my slugged chips into the cheap racks, very tight on some, perfect on others.. Definitely not a lot of consistency in those chips lol. But, they're better looking nice than dice chips!

I have noticed that the "Paulson Chips" home mold is slightly shorter than my RHC chips...
