So I actually purchased these a day or two the horseshoe sale was re-announced, and I'll be using these for the low stakes games that I will be hosting, until I get something different.

Really exciting to get my first paulsons ever, even though its only a little more than a rack, rather than a large set(but I do have a large set coming in from Jim(y))

Enjoy. Agreed, very nice chips! These should look really great next to the Horseshoe $1 chips (that have a similar colored spot, if I recall correctly), if that's the set you're getting from Jim.

If the low stakes game you're hosting is $0.25/$0.50 no limit holdem, for just one table, 120 quarters is a perfect amount for 10 players, IMO.

When I hosted those stakes, I'd use $0.25/$1/$5 chips in a 12/12/3 starting stack for a $20 buy-in or 12/12/5 for $40. Rebuys were with a few $1s and mostly $5s (or $20s or $25s, if/when I ran out of $1s & 5s). If I had more $1s, I would have probably left the $5s out of the starting stack and used 12/17 for $20 and 12/37 stack for $40.

Very nice. I hope you enjoy them. The collection continues....(y)
