Really? I don't understand. Most of us are guys and we tend to shorten/make nicknames all the time. Honesty it means we like the person. Well I suppose if your user name was Hancock and you shorted it to, well, ah, you know, I could see how one might be upset. But whatever Tomster. Just trying to have fun here.
definitely all this ^
revealing that one actually takes offense at someone using a shortened version of their name is the quickest way to get called the most juvenile version of their name by everyone i know.
I'm pretty sure the reference was to Red of ASM Vegas (Clay Rollah) - I can see why someone would not want to mistaken for him.
yeah, i would say that's a fair request
I wonder if this might get confusing as people switch back and forth between pseudonyms and real names?
Milo = Anthony. Anyone calling me "Tony" will be ignored.

Thank you for your understanding![emoji22]
In all seriousness I was simply poking fun at Tommy in a PM.[emoji41]
In thinking about it more I've come to the conclusion that if "Red" is used more outside the context of ASM ruin then perhaps that's an overall positive result...
So call me what you wish! (within reason![emoji15][emoji12])
Cheers!
Bill. Although I answer to William I suppose, and my family and friends I've know since elementary school can get away with calling me Billy. And quite a few people in my local games call me Effin' Bill. I'm still trying to figure out why...
I have the same friends, lol.
I get called William all the time. My name on my birth certificate is actually "Billy"...............I don't correct people anymore.
