This seems like the karmic EV+ move. Great find regardless.Dammit.
I thought you were gonna say you sniped the sniper and were giving (or selling) the table to the OP, @ngmcs8203.

So…I sniped the sniper. I was following this thread yesterday and when I saw the table was on the peninsula I was stoked new local chipper @ngmcs8203 was going to scoop up a nice looking table at a great price. Of course I wasn’t going to ruin the deal for him, but this morning when I checked the thread I saw someone had sniped him and he wasn’t going to get it, I figured one PCFer should end up with it. Lol So I sprung into action. I found the Marketplace ad, saw it was 10 minutes away from me, and sent them a message that I could pick it up immediately. I ended up beating the sniper to the table by two hours. Lol
The table is a good size for a smaller game. The speed felt is in great shape and cards slide across it nicely. The arm rail is pretty rough in spots (thread is missing from two of the sewed seams, there’s a rip on the bottom side which is luckily not visible from above, and a few dings, small tears, and scratches) but once cleaned up a little bit the table will play and present perfectly fine. Definitely a steal of a deal at $15.
Since all my tables are ovals, it will be interesting to see how the table works out. Sorry you weren’t able to score this @ngmcs8203 . Although if I ever decide I don’t want it I will definitely pass the deal on to you.

Haha that is awesome. What was the sellers deal? Seems lame to me that they would be willing to behave like that with a sale. Especially so cheap.
That was actually my original thought. Once I got my hands on it and saw how versatile it could be versus all my larger tables, my mind went astray. Yep…this is how the story was meant to end. @ngmcs8203 …come and get it.Dammit.

In most cases on FB, I’ve seen a seller make an appointment, but will mention that if someone else makes an offer before then, they’ll let you know it’s sold. That’s seems fair enough.Haha that is awesome. What was the sellers deal? Seems lame to me that they would be willing to behave like that with a sale. Especially so cheap.

However, once I saw an ad for a free working snowblower , and it was listed “First come, First served”. It was only 2 towns over, I messaged the seller and said that I’ll be there in 25-30 minutes, and I’m leaving now. She said ok.
I get there, no snowblower.
“Sorry, it’s gone. I told you…first come, first served.”
I said, “I told you I was on my way. This is ridiculous, how many others did you tell?”
“Three other people.” She said.
“So they’re all driving here now too?!”
I was pissed.
This would have been incredible! And commendable.Dammit.

Incredible ending after all! Good job PCF!
