Expedited process announced: The wholesaler is in the middle of their ordering process which means it's a good time for us to add on what we need for our order. We will accumulate interest until Tuesday April 12, 2023 (April 11 midnight) and then we'll have an approximate final number which then can allow us to calculate final costs and we'll also switching the respective GBs to "Taking Orders". I don't see the point in dragging this on when enough people are ready to order and get the ball rolling. Thanks everyone

I know the deadline tonight is just for interest not orders, but do you have an idea yet of whether you'll offer more than one of the jumbo options, or if you'll just pick design? I was originally going to just get EPTs (first choice) or 2800s (second choice) but if you think you'd offer both (or all three) I may get more than one design, but I don't want to artificially inflate the numbers.

Yeah its whatever has the most interest, and so far it is looking like EPT & 2818

My apologies in advance for the potentially dumb question.......what's the advantage or favor to the tuck box vs no tuck box sets?
I believe they come in cellophane only. Once you remove it, you will have to get a case for them. If they come with a tuck box, you have something to store the cards in once opened.

I'd assume one comes in a paper box for storing versus cellophane wrap and once it's unwrapped you have to find storage.

Thanks!! I see, I guess what my question was why are the no tuck box sets so popular. Why would you not want them to come in a tuck box.

I guess it all boils down to personal preference of the card; the font, suit color, card back design.

I personally like the 2818, no tuck box. I dig the cards and I'm sure I have a storage box lying around somewhere.
makes sense....thank you! Those 2818 are very nice indeed.

The cards that came with these boxes were paper so toss those and make room for Fournier

Are the decks in all set ups individually wrapped?

Darn, low interest on the 2800s.

I’m modifying my “order” (will update original comment too). IF 2800s end up being available I will take 2 red/2 blue of the 2800s, AND I’ll take 3 red/3 blue EPTs. (Not interested in 2818.)

Seems like the 2800s are a long shot, so since this isn’t the final order, depending on how much shipping adds to the per-deck cost, I might up my EPT order.

Just stand by, I'll see what I can order in bulk to help out the poker size peeps.

Thanks but if it’s easier to go with top two (or one) choice to keep things running smooth, totally understand. Even with really simple choices logistics can be challenging. Plus maybe deeper discounts can be gotten with just one choice.

You're a gem, dont make me go drive and reup! Thought interest was dead but tons of group buys for different card setups got me thinking.
That's right you did do the group buy for the boxes! I forgot it was you.

Business suggestion ...... Gets tons of those boxes, dump the paper cards, fill with Fournier EPT, charge a markup for doing the legwork. Think about it man

Don’t entrap him into being a flipper!

We need a North American distributor for Fournier! Why not him?
It was a joke based on the chip flipping debates on the board. Plus isn’t NA distribution what @VMR911 is doing with this GB?

Maybe after this GB is done, if @NotRealNameNoSir want to combine the two products, it’d probably make sense for him to order directly from the Fournier vendor.

You're right. It crossed my mind but honestly wife finishing masters, I'm finishing a dissertation plus we're moving, so we're student-broke.

Lifes great, not complaining, but I dont have the startup cash.
