@timinater has done a great job helping me design a frac for this hideaway set. The $1, $5 , and $25 are original design and set in stone... But we have some decisions for a 5c and 25c chip.

I quite like the 25c color originally suggested by @BSteck , but there are a couple of edge spot options on the table.

I'm more open to color changes to the 5c if anyone has suggestions.

If you have a suggestion for better colors for both the 5c and 25c feel free to chime in!

Now vote!

Option A on both.

For color, I'd eliminate hot pink and white. I'd probably lean strongest towards the purple, but the fuschia could also work.

I am leaning towards the purple, but I think I want it a bit lighter.

I think more of a rose/soft pink might work better with the set.

Option A with the lead it seems, with option B a bit behind.

Those are my favorite picks as well, and I think the progression works best with them.

Thanks all, might be back with a couple more colors soon...

Beware of pinks next to oranges - the two can offer some contrast challenges.

That's a good point, I've had some minor issues with my Mayfair set that has pink 5c and orange 25c.

I really like the fuchsia color, but I'm afriad it's too close to the $5...does anyone agree or a I being paranoid?

A for both

Magenta or Fuchsia for the nickel. DO NOT go lighter on the pink it will not contrast enough with the ORANGE quarter.

I wouldn't be opposed to the idea of the option C spot for the nickel to help differentiate it from the fiver but they may not be on the table at the same time anyway...if they are I would assume the fiver is a value chip for the most part anyway.

We usually don't get $5's on the table, but last week the game played a bit larger than normal and I think we had $20-40 worth of 5's out there.

I don't know if I have any good "true color" screens to compare with, but on the laptop screen I'm viewing on now, the fuchsia and the red are actually pretty different looking. They looked a lot closer on my phone.

I think I'm leaning towards the purple though, maybe a shade or two lighter.

I don't mind the Option B edge spots on the 5c either...I quite like the simple 114 spot...the problem is that I just really like Option A on the 25c and I think Option A on the 5c works better with that progression in mind.

Final decision, which shade of purple? Whole line-up pictured.

Vote away! :)

Just a thought. The purple you've picked will work either way but in lower light may cause issues. Have you considered using a more "red" purple and eliminate some of the cyan from the mix?

For this reason I'd vote #2.

My biggest concern would be confusion with the blue $1... and so I vote #3.

More like the fuchsia in the OP? Option 1?

Yeah, I guess but not so strong. Try keeping the magenta value lower than 50. It saturates quickly. I think you're headed towards the purple you have in #2 spot regardless. It works. Looks great. Ship it!

These are so cool!

I would do #1. And when I host 5c games, we never get $5 chips on the table so I wouldn't worry too much about the clash.
