I truly think it would have lasted longer and continue to thrive to this day if more people (especially new people) would have signed up more often to keep the chips circulating. Really, the cost sacrifice was minimal.

Sad to say, but I likely won't be starting this up again, unless I come across a diverse and relevant set of chips that would be appropriate for evaluation and cost-effective.

@allforcharity Im assuming this forum grew around the start of covid as home poker play sky rocketed. I have been playing for years, but usually with no denom sets even for the last few years post college. I ordered a set from a common chip set site and I was so disappointed in the quality that I started to do research and landed here. Given my 750 chip set only ran me $250 so I can’t expect much, especially now that I know that quality sets are well into the 4 figures. I play often with my friends and luckily I have some extra cash to hopefully purchase a quality set in the coming months. I am trying to educate myself and get some samples before making any decisions. Glad to have some seasoned chippers to help me in my journey!

For clarity, I sent the chips to @bigtimsb in August and he confirmed receipt on 30Aug. He seemed really excited about the samples, and had other CPC samples he wanted to contribute to the set. He did mention being busy, let’s hope he is just busy and forgot about this and still has the set. Has anyone PM’d him about this…maybe he isn’t seeing any email alerts? Hope it keeps going, was really helpful to me and it seems many others.
