Hi guys.

I also have this set of Casino chips.

They are genuine regulated Casino chips allegedly produced by Bourgogne and Grasset France.

They come from a closed Casino in Cannes on the French Riviera in the 90's and the amounts are in no more existing french francs.

They are made in Casino chips composite that is the only legal in france and are regulated.

Most of them are totally new and unusued, few of them are used but in perfect condition.

I have:

White 10000 FF x378
Anis 10000 FF x117 larger diameter
Green 25 FF x524
Blue 500 FF x72

Total 1091 chips.

What do you think they are worth?

Thnx

You know how to make an entrance.

Nice. Shame there is no 100s.

Price wise. As the set really isn't "playable" I think your best results would come from selling seperate denoms. People could add to mixed BJ sets. IMO which isn't worth a lot $1-$1.50/chip for the lower denoms upto $2-$3 for the high denoms if you find the right buyer.

I agree with stocky. The set isn't playable, so you will most likely have to split it up to sell it. For instance, I might be interested in 100 of the 1.000 chips, and maybe 20 of the 10.000s, but there aren't enough 500s to be useful and way too many 25s (which I don't need either, unfortuantely.)

I would guess
25s -- $1 to $1.50
500s & 1000s -- $1.50 to $2
10000s -- $2 to $3 since oversized

Cool chips, but I don't think they are B&G. They look like Bud Jones v7 to me.

Good call! Here are some Bud Jones sample V7 and V8 chips. Some of the patterns match the French casino chips.

Regardless, they are beautiful chips!

They look the same but I don't know as bud Jones are not said to be legit in France.

I dont know perhaps they had bud Jones anyway for some reason

Yeah all the plastic chips B&G, BJ, Matsui and Abbiati all look kind of the same. But there are little differences. I just haven't seen any B&G chips like those, and certain aspects of them remind me very much of BJ chips I know. Just wanted to put it out there for potential buyers to consider (IMO they will sell better to compliment BJ sets, not many people have B&G chips).

It could still be B&G chips, for all I know. I'd have to dig through some more samples to compare. They are indeed pretty similar. B&G chips usually have thinner edge spots than Bud Jones from what I've seen, but I'm no expert.

Just 2 things I noticed...

1) The $25 chip does look very much like a Bud Jones chip. Take a look at the live $1 borgata chip - the chips below are all Bud Jones chips.

2) The inlay with the glitter ring is very familiar to Bud Jones chips. I don't see them on B&G chips (someone correct me here if I'm wrong).

There are very few playable B&G sets out there. The Dragonara chips is one that I remember off the top of my head.

So they seem to be BJs ... my mistake...
Thank you experts!

Then how much do you think then?

Thx

i have to find a uv lamp then

thanx for the advice

Yes they must be BJ (or Matsui).
BG always sign their chips with the initials.
And some of those molds are not from them.
