Preface: Not many people have actually seen Clay Compression Molded Casino chips being made. You are about to see some images from inside a major casino chip manufacturing plant. I'd bet it is much different than you would expect. Clay chip manufacturing is extremely labor intensive and sometimes very fickle. Back when Nevada Jacks was founded, compression molded chips cost far less than a dollar to purchase...if I recall correctly 25 years ago the cost of an edge spotted inlay casino chip was somewhere around 60 cents to purchase. Currently, casinos pay no less than $2 a chip in bulk. I'll try to put up 1 picture up daily. Enjoy the show.
