Hi!

I am a pretty new and enthusiastic chipper and in the early stages of designing a fully custom Ceramic set.

I live in Hungary, thinking about ordering my chips from pokershop.de.
I have sample sets of their stock ceramics, they seem nice - their edge alignments are not perfect, but alright.
If anyone has ordered fully custom ceramics from them, please tell me your experiences.
Is there a better option that ships to Hungary?

My other question might be a controversial one :):
What do you guys think about mixed denomination designs?
For example the T25 chip would have three similar, but different graphics on it.
Same color, same denomination text, but some slight differences.
Is there a term for this "mixed denomination"?
Can I see a real life example of this somewhere?

Thanks!

Welcome,
i don‘t know these ceramics, but would consider ‚Tina‘ for full custom.
Different molds and sizes in pretty decent quality.

Progressive inlay design i saw thru the entire set, but not in the same denom…
But no problem if full custom, you just need the designs. (Face/inlay/edge)

I ordered some custom DBs through them, quick turnaround, hustle free, good contact, quality ok. My understanding is they use Anita is China as supplier rather than Tina, who is the forum’s favorite.

Edit: found an example from @Dane:

The way I see it, if you don’t want to deal with customs, taxes and import fees, they are the best bet, and money-wise it’ll be nearly same as you would order from china directly.
As for you question with mixed denoms - live that idea, was thinking of found the same thing should I do another custom. It’s basically an equivalent of having any anniversary or GO chips form a casino.
One of the best examples of this for me:
