I am still bummed that I was literally on my way to get them, cause I moved some things around to make time to drive there, but what are you gonna do. Woulda been a nice score. And good point about it sitting there for 3 days. If any of us were really paying attention we coulda got them sooner.

And I didn’t skip the line, as I didn’t offer her a penny more than her asking price. I didn’t wanna tip her off. Oh well. Maybe next time I do offer them more.

Okay so I’m going to walk back the no sympathy comment now. Sounds like she was working with more than one of us to schedule a pickup time.

The initial convos with her went from “oh it’s a far trip for you for $10.00 dear!” To “actually someone is ahead of you in line” so I assumed someone offered more $$$ to cut. Looks like you could just get her that money quicker lol

PCF probably hugged this deal to death. She probably told someone that it was really odd that she suddenly have 20 people messaging her about these stupid chips that have been sitting in the closet, and a google search later was like “oh shit!” And didn’t actually sell them. We’ll see if they show up on eBay or something.

In January I was setting up to drive to Connecticut for that case of H molds and hit up Matt's tournament on the way back home.

And there was that guy up near the Tapanzee that had 5 acrylic birdcages but he didn't want to bundle for less. In fairness I really lowballed him trying to play the sympathy card for him being 2 hours away
