Those do look like Abbiati chips. They are probably a little lighter at 8-9g. I don't think they have the brass insert.

I do like the tourney set idea. Either 43 or 39. The chips they use for Bellagio 5 Diamond tourney are nice. Some of the Aria tourney chips have nice colors too.

I sort of made a chip design tool in Adobe Photoshop. It's not perfect. When something starts looking good, I'll have a graphic pro make it in AI then export back to a PSD in layers and I'll fine tune it.

I use the eye dropper to pick the colors from that pic.

That's pretty smart! Would love to see some mockups and then do them with the puzzle set to see how it looks in person.

Always interested in new chippies. Personally I probably wouldn't be in if it were cash but tourney highly likely. Having said that, if they're spectacular then I would be in regardless.

Unfortunately group designs never work and will cause you to go insane.
I think the best way to include group feedback is to have no more than 3 set designs, offer them, and just use a poll to decide.

Yes, to avoid the setup fee surcharge (cost in FP) each design/chip/label is a min of 1000.

IMO, if you want a semi-custom design but don't want to pay the setup fee surcharge, use whatever the group decides, but get custom labels from @Gear.

I got four or five chips and a deck of Modianos from Abbiati USA a couple years back by asking nicely. I want to say my contact was Misty. I just asked for samples, the deck of cards was a surprise. The chips are now gone.
