Thanks again for all of the good vibes, everyone. Got the score report back today. I failed. No idea what next steps are with my program but given all of the other academic problems I've had up to moment, pretty sure it means I'm done with med school. Off to find a job, I guess.

I am sorry to hear this. Try to keep a positive attitude, dont let one of lifes speed bumps put you in a rut!!! Just remember one thing, you made it this far, and the only person that can tell you what your limits are is you!!!! I know it really drags after putting that much time and effort (and probably money) and not succeeding, but you mustn't let it stop you from doing great things in the future!!!! Ya never know... maybe you dont pass med school but your education helps to save someone's life one day in an accident or emergency. Best wishes to you.

This exam was the first of the many exams. Still have 2 years of clinical rotations and then residency.

Not a doctor yet. Still a just a med student. But now I can say I'm a third-year med student...in other words, I know enough to be dangerous and not enough to actually be helpful.

Indeed. I watched it one night after I found it on the free Roku channel. I'll spoil the ending because it's so dumb and no one should watch this movie. Her dad (Michael Madsen) dies when she's a little girl. But he's not dead! He shows up at the final table of the big tournament! He faked his death to avoid some gambling debts, and he's been watching her from the shadows as she grew up. At first she's not sure if it's really him, because he has grown a mustache to hide his identity. Yes, really.
