So I've always been wondering about T.R. King chips and how they look and feel in person, so the other day I saw a couple of chips and decided to go get them.

And I absolutely loved them! I never really liked casino used chips, I don't know what it is but I really liked the feel of them even though most of the cross-hatching is worn off.

I started searching the web to see if I could find a frac, 25 and 100 chip to complete this sample set, and then this happened:

Next thing I know, I've got 300 of these beauties added to cart and paid for! - and how it escalated so quickly. I had some funds from a recent sale where I sold more chips than I actually needed to, and the idea was to get my first set of casino paulsons. But somehow I've ended up with these instead.

So, now I need to get some fracs, 25s and 100s for this set so I can get it in play soon. I'll use this to play my friendly 0.50/0.50 game with my friends so I'll need a rack of fracs, 20x 25s, and maybe 5/10 x 100s

Any ideas on which chips will go well with these?

Looks like Spinettis grass page background. Congrats on the purchase!

Thanks Tommy!! Yes it is Spinetti's. Was a dollar each, and I have no idea what's the going rate for these but individual chips seem like they go for 3-4 each.

Oh man...and I thought I was finally able to let one go. I'll just tell my wife that you talked into it  :ROFLMAO:

I don't think their website tracks inventory. You could add 1000 of those sets to your cart and it will let you check out.

I stand corrected. It does now. 4 sets left. Hurry! ;)

I think @gopherblue was selling some JB non denom hot stamps that would make a great frac.
Thanks! I'll get in touch with him.

Oh no! I'm sorry @Seeking Alpha Social Club for the false hope! I do hope they actually have more of these in stock.:D

So much worse than the flu bug...I'm wishing you the best!
Oh no, I browsed their site and I saw : Nevada Lodge, Money Trees, Fitzgeralds (oh why are they so expensive), riverside Pick Hobson. I am so doomed. Good part is my wife likes these as well, except for the lady's head on the reverse side of the chip

There is no cure.......
OMG! Why did you do that to me? Those look beautiful! and mint! I've been searching all over but can't seem to find any, except in one sample set.

Which leads me to my next question, which do you think would do better for this set as 25s? (Borrowed the pics from Spinetti's)

I don't care what anyone says...granny or no granny, the JB Riversides kick @$$.

I agree. I think a lot of people get turned off by the worn condition of most of the JBs out there (well, that and grandma's face), but when these were new they would have been awesome. Great colors on the whole lineup and the hundo is one of my favorites. Wish I could find more in excellent condition.

IMO TRK's feel like a cross between Paulson and BCC chips. That is, they last very long and seem to have a harder clay like BCC, but a little bit of the "smoothness" of Paulsons. I'd be interested to see if others here evaluate them that way as well.
IMO the perfect chip! Too bad they don't make them anymore :(

I just snagged a set of $1s and $5s as well, hoping I don't like them and can stick with my paulsons...

I've always wanted to order about 10 just to shuffle around a bit...but i'm scared. I think I know what will happen if I do.
