I've been collecting individual TRK chips, which I still enjoy. Although I've been tempted to pick up a playable set from time to time, I've never seen a must-have set at a cannot-resist price.

That said, if you find a set that you want, buy it. You can always sell it later, and if you do sell at a loss, consider that as the cost to rent the chips. Either way, it's a win-win.

Weed? Heck, TRKS are more like heroin. Before you know it you're offering $3, $4, and more for chips. Then you have to turn tricks just to support your habbit. :ROFL: :ROFLMAO:

Okay, I made the last sentence up, but the rest is definitely true :D

I guess what I'm saying is, "COME JOIN THE PARTY, YOU'LL LOOOVVVEEE IT!!!"

i will tell you this, see the 12 or 13 pink money tree fiddy cent chips in this pic,i bought those for the exact reason you stated.

i have bought and sold thousands of chips and i will stay away from TRKs because they probably are the most addictive chips out there....go ahead and test yourself :D

Glad you got those black fracs instead of me. Not sure what I would have done with them, but they clearly belong with your set :) Congrats on putting together a nice playable set!

Now the hunt begins to fill that last stack of blue 25s! Haha :)

at first i thought you meant how TRKs are a different width that other chip manufacturers...so the stacks are always a little off when mixed with another set.....no ones still found a rack that fits these right

Thanks! I actually did fill the last rack of 25s. They're being shipped right now. But I went way overboard. I got 330 more of them on a really fantastic deal.
 
I put these into play today. Was so excited. But the players hated them - all but one. No complaints about granny's face but they found the lack of a denomination on one side of the chips and on the fracs confusing. Oddly enough during play everything went super smooth, no confusion whatsoever.

But they asked for the Majestics to be put back into play next week.

My heart weeps. :(

Exactly what I tried to tell them, but they said it wasn't obvious enough.

I'm going to force it upon them again next week :)

If they still don't like it, then I just might sell you the black chips.

My 2 cents (and what I do when players complain). Tell them that they won't have to play with them when they host. :ROFL: :ROFLMAO:

Uhh, with the exception of the fracs, there is a denom on both sides of each chip. Your players are blind. :cool:
 
Granny or not, put me in the camp that if all the Jessie Beck chips were hotstamped with as cool a hotstamp as the NCV black chips, I'd have a HUGE set right now. I love that hotstamp. If it was on all the other chip colors/spot patterns, it would be hawt.
