Pre flop goes
Ep limps
Mp raises to 3k i call
Im in seat 9 so cant see ep all that clearly looks like he folds as makes the gesture dealer doesnt announce three ways to the flop

Flop comes AK8

Didnt see ep check cos i think hes folded as has no cards in front of him mp jams for his remaining 7k i call

Ep pulls his cards out from almost like under the table and re jams i tank id already locked up 3 bounties so made 15 quid profit (lol)

I think pot odds and call

Deffo made the mistake of not confirming eps action

But aside from a massive angle is there any way im getting away from that granted its like 12x re raise really not sure what else i could of done there

To make this clearer as reddit has got itself confused he had his cards in his hands but where held on his knee so noone could see them. Further research showed he went on to win the tourney and his day job is card magician… take that as you will

So EP checked, MP jammed and even tho action was on you, EP re-jammed, but you didn't know that, and no one corrected EP to tell him action was in you?

Would have have still jammed if you knew EP was still in the hand with top 2? If so then it's just a bad runout...nothing you could've done.

For further context dealer is deffo new never seen him before in tight with somenof the other dealers there after speaking to them this dealer is a complete noob at poker

So preflop goes

Ep cards nowhere to be seen dealer assumes ep folded

Flop comes

Action went straight to MP as dealer, i and everyone else at the table assumed EP had folded

Mp jams
I call
Ep re jams covering me

EP has cards in his hands under the table floor called and ruled that due to dealer mistake it could stand

Had i known id have to get through EP player as well i would i would of jammed myself instead of calling or even might have found the fold

I could of deffo 4 bet deffo a mistake on my part im not trying to really dissect my play here im just more venting my frustration of the situation and it wasnt like l wasnt paying attention dealer slipped up and he had no cards i think to most people if no cards are in front its pretty much universally understood as they folded

RROP says 3 players have to act before the right to act may be forfeited. My bad.

Floor should have warned EP. All kinds of shenanigans can happen when cards are taken off the table. I don't think that happened here, unless EP knew runner-runner was coming. If that occurred, there are bigger problems with the game.

In any casino I've played in, if a player were to put their cards in their lap their hand would be declared dead.

This thread would make so much more sense with:

• Punctuation (commas, periods, etc.)
• Upper case letters at the start of what should be new sentences and for acronyms (EP/MP, not ep/mp, etc.)
• Acronyms that people actually use in real life, or at least an explanation of them

And yes, if the player had his cards off the table, hand is dead. Did he really have them off the table, or were you just not seeing them? Did nobody mention this to the dealer/floor?
