Just a word of warning/caution -- unlike other chipper projects where offering custom options and alternate chips, colors, and denoms are common, dealing with GPI is very different. Those types of requests are basically unheard-of in their business model.

The more you try to stray from the model, the less likely it becomes that the order will be approved.

How about if I wanted the red chip to be my 25k chip - could I get that done. Not a fan of the current 25k but would do the red 25k in a heartbeat.
I like that idea. What I like even better is making the blue 5k available as a 1 and opening up this set to cash games!

Why the hesitation to do a T2K and a T10K? You can save money by removing a whole denom

T25/T100/T500/T2K/T10K

And just like @Psypher1000 said and @BGinGA noted, this could be used as both a cash and tourney set with cash at value x 0.01.

Screw tradition. What happened to the pioneering spirit? And this would make this set unique to every other GB being organized out there.

Not interested in a 2k set. 25k chip color is not the most important for me, even running a 2 table tournament you’ll probably never hit the 25k chip.

Just want to say great job so far and this is pretty exciting. Now for a little history on a previous group buy from times past in another galaxy.

As most are seeing there is a significant cost for the dies to be made. Personally I love the way these are gonna look but that's of no import here. What I want to point out is that one of the very first Grand Cardroom stamp sets was actually purchased by some of the original GB participants then if anyone outside the original ownership group ever wanted a set or add on - the ownership group would get a price per chip rental for use of the dies. And ownership for all future orders for rentals as well.

May be a possibility.......

There’s quite a few actually, from the final GB. No one wants to sell though, for good reason.

Agreed that GCR should be put to rest

If no-one wants to sell, all the more reason to make more! I have seen a total of ONE spotted GCR set come up for sale in the past two years.

To be honest, I can't look at the Four Suits logo without seeing this...

I will probably stay with the Four Suits design, and I would be more than happy to let people add-on at a later date.

I got a little excited because I never owned any GCR’s.

Apologize if this was earlier in the thread, but guessing weight is ~8.5 grams give/take?
I’m thinking similar to the CPC Atlantic HS samples I have from a weight perspective

Highly encourage you to avoid the white spots on that light blue base. That’s pale-on-pale. Might consider putting the camel/gold/whatever spots on the blue chip, and white spots on the red chip.

I’ve been mulling over that very same thing.

Hey everyone. I've been doing my best to take everyone's input and incorporate it into this set, but with only ten colors available it is pretty difficult. However, I want to see this project come to life, and quite a few people have suggested lower denominations as well to incorporate a cash set. If that will help us meet our minimum then I'm all for it, so here is what I have at the moment. I have to keep colors the same if the combinations of base and edge spot colors are concerned because it wouldn't make sense to do otherwise and may result in PGI saying "no" to the whole thing.

I hope you guys like what I have. Constructive criticism is welcomed.
