Ahh, those TFP beauties are one of a kind. Any other would be a pale imitation.

But if (and I do mean if) it were ever attempted, a secondary set on the FDL mold would be the way to go. :whistle: :whistling:

I was sort of thinking that too. I am in for at least 1000.

In general, I am not a fan auctions here, but certain sets it makes sense. The Mapes Auction is a perfect example. The last GCOP auction was great until it ended, if any other GCOPS go on sale, it would also make sense. I really wonder what the true market value is for them.
 
I have a feeling I don't have deep enough pockets for this auction. :(

Edit: unless you potential sellers want to be super generous and break your sets into smaller MORE AFFORDABLE sets for the masses :)

Oh I know they come up ever now and then. I just think they are in that rare "grail" range (I like em; that much) that I will never come off of. Never say never though, I might need to sell for various reason at some point down the line but more than likely my kids will be selling them after I kick the bucket.

Don't get me wrong, I'd love to maybe add on when people do sell but I'm still surprised that people sell them before other things (like GV sets, cars. kidneys, etc...). ;)

I have very reluctantly decided that I will likely wait until the next casino drop or save up for a CPC set.

As awesome and legendary as these chips are, they are going to be way out of my price range...

Good luck to whoever can snag these.
