I think I'm going to acquire some in-play THC chips and do a relabel set. What are my options for green and black chips without spending $25 or $100 per chip to do this project?

Are you saying you specifically want live chips in order to murder and relabel them? Why not just buy used retired chips? There are lots of nice spotted green 25s and black 100s that can be bought for between $3 and $10 a chip.

A lot dependent on condition, rarity, spot edge, amount etc etc. Definitely don't need to buy live chips.

Chips are listed for sale in the classifieds on a daily basis. Just keep up with that.

You could also post a wanted ad and describe what interests you. Others here will see that and try to help you out by tagging you when chips are posted that match your criteria.

Do searches for "$25 THC" and "$100 THC" to find previous posts of chips that sold and chips discussed. Use these to get an idea of what you like and what your budget needs to be.

Just by being an active member here you will learn a lot about what's available, or could become available.

Green chips are quickly becoming the red-headed stepchild of denoms. Tourney sets are going to T100 base most of the time, and many who insist on playing low stakes cash with 4-6+ racks of $5 sometimes never get the green $25 into play. So there are often deals on good condition THC greens for overlabel or inlay replacement.

Black THC $100s are usually readily available for much the same reasons. If you're not getting $25s into play, you sure as hell aren't getting $100s into play.

Except for tigers lol. There are primary $5s for sale at a premium and there are primary $100s for sale at a premium but nobody will sell their $25s -_-

Try the Jack Detroits, or Tachi, or the Jumers. Or anything else from TCR that was a "doorbuster".
