Hey folks, I've been around a week or so now but I thought I'd say "hey" here. Hailing from the Portland metro area. I'm in a China Clay Majestic tournament set already and am quickly obtaining samples and looking ahead to more pain to my wallet

Welcome to PCF! There are a few Portland metro area members around, though we are not the most coordinated bunch.

I'd be glad to show you the samples I have left - I think there are stacks of five or six BCC molds, three Bud Jones varieties, leaded and unleaded Paulson THC and RHC, a few CPC molds, the CPS Tower and Spear chips, small crown hotstamps and blanks, faux clay, and some jetons. I've parted with my GPI-era Paulson home set samples and most of my China Clays, still have a good half dozen CPC molds left to sample, and never really got into ceramics, so it's not an exhaustive collection but might help get you familiarized with some of what is out there.

I was born in SoCal... Didn't spend much time there but for visiting family every few years while growing up in Oregon. My wife and I fantasize about sunny beach life and entertain moving down from time to time, never too seriously though

Welcome! I grew up in Portland, and now live in San Diego. I love it up there, but gotta say I got used to the sun and beaches fast!
