I’m confused about this. Are there two types of Matsui Racks? From what I was reading on this forum I thought Matsui racks held 43mm chips but fit in a standard birdcage.

If I go with 43’s I would definitely be interested in a 1000 chip rack. Maybe a focus on the 1000 chip size would be best as that is a standard industry size correct?

Not sure if those are the same ones I have, but I just tried a dry fit and it doesn't work. It's close, but needs at least another 1/4" of width on the cage.

Pretty sure matsui racks are longer. I bought some recently to test fit but haven't got around to it yet.

Out of curiosity for all the MD weight birdcages (600, 800, 1000) - will they have this clean welded edge? or the plastic corners?

They've been designed to have the plastic corners. I don't think we can do the clean edges due to the thickness of the acrylic. The HD birdcages are 1/2" acrylic whereas the MD ones will be 3/8". Not sure if there's enough meat left to chamfer the corners and have enough material left for the bond.

I did a poll a while ago and these were the favorite. 43mm was close behind though. I might just bite the bullet and get these made, then sell them rather than gauging interest. If you build it, they will come...

None of them are made yet, this GB was posted to get numbers for the order but we haven't reached any of the goals yet.

I will probably just go ahead and get these made in the new year. I'll just pay upfront and hope they sell. If you build it, they will come, right?

I don't have any of the 4 color right now, but I have a shipment of them waiting for me at my WA mailing address. I'll be picking them up probably next week. I am just waiting for 1 more shipment to arrive (Warneke chip boxes) before I head down to pick up everything together.

Hey, Tony, once @nezara 's Matsui GB order ships, I'd like to bring over a few and do a fit test with them (they probably have different dimensions than the stackable octagon racks). I may decide to up my order to 5 or 6 cages and we can go ahead if we can get at least 10 made at US$120 each.
