Guns you own (9 Viewers)

That's pretty crazy.

When I hear Jerry talk, it reminds me of another Jerry:

One caveat though - the grip is rubbery and wider than stock and I have to be more precise/accurate when reloading with HKS 5 shot speedloaders... at some point, I may end up doing a little cutting or dremeling of the grip but it's not a deal-breaker IMO... (please excuse the pocket lint!)

Thanks @Trihonda for the response. Put the lesson on my Tab. LOL Yeah it was just thought about the taser as there have been quite a few persons lately going around our town breaking into cars. I didn't want to put any rounds into anyone over a car or the things in it and on second thought l'll just call the cops if I see anybody snooping around in our neighborhood rather than try to incapacitate them with a Taser for the cops. Thanks for getting the silly thought out of my head.

I personally give you kudos for your attitude/heart regarding responding to crime/criminals (I heartily believe in #7 of Peel's Principles - "To maintain at all times a relationship with the public that gives reality to the historic tradition that the police are the public and that the public are the police, the police being only members of the public who are paid to give full-time attention to duties which are incumbent on every citizen in the interests of community welfare and existence.") - I don't think the thought is "silly" at all. That being said, today's relaxed environment for crime/criminals makes it very very rarely worth it (IMO)... (Fwiw, instructor here as well - M26, X26/X26p, T7).

My late contribution to "revolver time" (Ruger Match Champion, built on their GP100 frame). Just looked it up on Ruger's website...holy bananas the MSRP has gone waaaayy up since I got this.

Likes: built like a tank and the small details that define the model. Dislikes: the giant branding on either side. It is just for fun, not for any match purposes.

My vintage Charter Arms Bulldog in .44 Special. I found this bad boy in a shoe box under my step dad’s desk a few weeks after he passed back in 2016. It’s not quite as punishing as say a .357 magnum out of a lightweight J frame, but it is a unique experience. I’ve shot many IDPA BUG matches with this pocket cannon.

Well I guess I had best show my most precious and special firearm in my collection. It is an older model not as common in the USA thanks to Bill Clinton...
I was browsing for a birthday gift to me in the summer of 2016 on my birthday. I am now 41 years old, born in July of 1980. Well the Cyrillic on this model has me believing that it was made in ~Summer of 1941. I believe there were potentially 8 ever made bearing the serial number 1980 (with different cyrillic prior to the numbers) but only One in the summer of 1941. I will never part with this sweat-heart so long as I live and I feel honored to be able to be custodian of such a historical piece. If I have no heir eventually I will donate my surplus collection to the local museum.

The best part of bringing new guest to the range is that it always comes with a history lesson. This Birthday history lesson only cost me 450CAN for the privilege.

I actually like the stock Boot Grip. I was considering a spring upgrade on the 642-1, but for now I'll just dry fire it a bunch and see if the trigger smooths out.

I have that same problem with speed loaders and the rubber grip on both my revolvers with the rubber grips. Theres some serious fumunda cheese on that trigger. :wow:

And since everyone's posting wheelers, here's my still-sort-of-new K6s... a house-warming gift to myself this past summer.

I told the wife we needed it for Black Hills woods hikes. :p

My good friend is demanding once I sell a couple to pick one of these up. He wants it in my safe so he can buy it later. I'm tempted if everything sells. I miss revolvers.

Tuff strips with 2 rounds and a gap then 2 rounds can help reloads. You only get four rounds, but you can load two at a time pretty fast. Speed loaders and J frames with any grip normally cause a hassle imo.

FWIW the reviews don't lie... it's one of the smoothest factory DA triggers I've ever shot. And quite possibly THE smoothest.

And the recessed chambers are a nice added touch of detail/craftsmanship.

Well crap. Let's hope my Nighthawk and Sig p210 sell. I'll grab one. The grip angle looks interesting....

The wood grip is a bit small in my opinion. If you have medium or larger sized hands, the popular option is to replace them with Hogue grips. Especially if you plan on shooting full power 357mag ammo. The wood grips are satisfactory for 38spl, and that's about it.

Thanks for the tip!

You Bastards!!! LOL Seeing all these revolvers on here now I need to get one. The 1911 in May was a birthday present to myself. Now a revolver will be a present for May 2022 to myself.
