Betting on a Cause and a Cure Tournament Chips. Looking for two racks of the T1000 chips. Different year is fine as long as it’s not the same color as my other chips. I can trade T25 or T5000.
Can’t find any info about them. The chip guide has the same chips that we both have under Harrah's Generic out of Nevada but a different T5000 is listed. I’ve also found one or two other chips from different years of the tournament and listed under a different location, but they have different color schemes, i.e, an orange T25, the aforementioned green T5000, etc.
Luckily I found a T1000 that works for my set before I bought mine. I have another chip in mind to use as a T1000 but I don’t think they’re available in the quantity I want/need.
With your 300/200/200/0/200 set, I'd go with the following deep stack event:
16 players, T32000 starting stacks (320BB with 50/100 opening blinds):
16 x T25
11 x T100
11 x T500
5 x T5000
-----------
43 chips
Can also go with 12/12/11/5 stacks (40 chips) -- pretty much a wash either way. The above stacks get more of the chips into play and creates bigger stacks, if that makes any difference. The latter has starting stacks that work out to an easy-to-store two barrels each. With the latter, only two racks of T25s are needed.
A blind structure with relatively-relaxed increases (20%-50%, 37% average) will run between 5 hours (with 15-minute levels) and 6.5 hours (with 20-minute levels) including breaks. Uses 6x T5000 chips to color-up the T25s and T100s, with enough extra T500/T5000 chips for up to six re-buys if desired.
