Sitting Out
Im not here for comparing who has valuable chips, just collectable ones and if this chip is collectable. I found this at the age of 58 and a collection of 1, even though it has interested me in starting i just lack knowledge. and i have other hobbies that will keep me busy. If nothing else i will donate it to the site CCGTCC for their research, or for kids with a disability if its worth doing. I just found it at a goodwill and ever since it has got me involved, and i am one of those people that try to know as much as i can if i am interested in talking about it, Politics, 56 Chevys' whiskey?I doubt they're truly that rare. And rarity alone doesn't mean anything. I have "1 of 1", "1 of 25", etc. baseball cards that aren't really worth anything. There has to also be demand. Lots of things are rare, but it doesn't mean they're desirable. That Harvey's chip is a nothing burger.
You are not in possession of the holy grail. That chip is not the T206 Honus Wagner of the chip collecting world. I bet everyone here other than you would rather have a 1989 Dunes $1 chip (that usually sells for around $10) rather than that Harvey's chip of yours. If you like it, then great...enjoy it.
Don't answer if you don't know anything, i am asking questions to those that do. if they want to respond that's up to them, but at least make it informational.
