Has anyone bought "Dia De Los Muertos" from Anita (Shengzhou Kaile Recreation)? I've decided to buy these from them due to the threads here as well as the communication with the rep who has been Johnny on the spot with the questions and customization requests. Before pulling the proverbial trigger, I wanted to know if anyone here has had any experiences they would like to share with either the seller, item or both.

You should not be asking if we have bought stolen/counterfeit designs. By all means get your own designs made but do not get copies of those that are owned by a well respected forum vendor.

The DDLM design is owned by ABC/BRPro so if you buy them from a Chinese vendor, they’re unauthorized copies.

Welcome to PCF! :ROFLMAO:

(No, I bought the BRPro originals, then sold them, then bought RHCs, then CPCs...the sickness is real)

Buy the originals from BR Pro. They offer a full range of customization for everything from size of the chip to denomination and text.

For DDLM, it's all about the art. And the art is amazing!

No. I didn't even know they existed and to be honest I find myself feeling a little irritated over the fact that they do.

1) Tina has a good reputation so nothing against her or her operation. It seems unlikely that she took it upon herself to copy the designs. Someone probably put her up to it.

2) As others have pointed out, the originals are from a trusted PCF vendor and are of higher quality both in terms of print and also the chips they use. The difference in price isn't significant in my opinion, and you can often find them listed in the classifieds at below their retail value. I strongly suggest you purchase from ABC/BR Pro. If you email them, they might even give you a coupon code as a first time customer. Can't hurt to ask.

Much much less quality with stolen designs. Come up with your own or get them from BRpro poker.
I seen them shown up in my feeds sometime and they looks like bad counterfeit coloured DDLM to me

Also, what u doing now is equivalent to a wanted thief asking for helps on where to sell his stolen stuff at the police station
Hey guys, let's cut the new guy some slack. He (probably) doesn't know what he doesn't know.

Sigh! There are always those people... I agree that buying "knockoffs" is unethical, however, if you read what I posted, I included that the vendor has complied with my "customization requests". I've read many a thread that engage on dissecting which vendors can make a "replica" or "in the style of..." which is the reason why I decided to ask the questions. I won’t delete this thread, but I will not be returning to it as I see that the no-reading-trolls have pounced on the noob. Great job guys.

We read it, but BRPro Poker does all kinds of customizations as well. People have turned the $100s into nickels, BR has been very welcoming about changing their own design.

Okay, good luck. Glad we agree that buying knockoffs is unethical, but all the quotation marks are confusing me.

Some customizations from BRpro.

I actually thought the responses were relatively tame!

I think we were just trying to steer you in the direction of better quality. Not to mention supporting a small business based in the US when their intellectual property has clearly been taken.

I'm not sure what kind of customizations you're asking for, but as I said, BR Pro will work with you on everything from denominations/text/sizes.

Found the vendor that you mentioned on Alibaba. Their pictures are trash. The chips look washed out. So, to be perfectly honest, they look like garbage.

You asked and received very civil answers. Just because they were not what you wanted or expected to hear means you got your feelings hurt? We will be here when you decide to return as an adult. Welcome to the site.

Sigh! There are always those people... I agree that conveniently getting your desires for less money and customized to boot feels nice; however, if you read what they posted, it's theft, and not just theft, but theft from a member of the board in good standing.

I'm not sure why your response to being told "hey, these are actually the property of someone here, maybe please don't steal them" is to try and pretend like they didn't read your post or something.

I'll jump in with both feet...I'm no troll and I've read, and reread, your post several times. Your asking if any of us have bought from a particular company, which i have not. You then proceed to tell us that you're taking material owned by a respected vendor and using it illegally. You then have the audacity to act offended when we point this out.

Let me skip ahead and see if I can give a summation: you are a thin skinned cheapskate thief that wants this community to co-sign your bullshit character flaws. Your not the first of this kind, but, at least toughen up and don't get your panties so twisted when you get called out. You are what you are.

I’m sure it can be confusing. Most PCFers will tell you not to steal art from another PCFer, yet won’t bat an eyelash when you steal art from a casino or a corporation or anybody else.

Also, you can’t delete a thread.

You won't delete this thread because you can't.

I agree that buying "knockoffs" is unethical, however
There is no however, you've admitted that what you plan to do goes against your own ethics, or at least what you would have others believe are your ethics. The contradiction reveals your nature.

BRPro is happy to make edits based on your requests, they own the design, and to use another vendor makes you the perpetrator of the theft. Thanks for letting us know your character.

Tina /= Anita
They are different vendors.

And yeah, he does know.

this thread... I will not be returning to it
Best news I've seen all day. Good riddance.

What a dumbass comment.

You are clearly an ass if you want to customize a ripoff from a well liked vendor here.

Welcome to PCF!

No one here buys from Amazon without fully checking the specific providers and if they have taken others ideas for production.

No one here shares login information, we don’t dupe large scale manufacturers to provide us goods that jeopardize their business in the casino world, we don’t take companies and casinos IP and make it our own, we certainly would never buy or sell a table with chargers since that’s been patented by a company, and we don’t buy chips from China that may be stealing designs.

Obviously.

I mean why not just say no one here uses electricity ... you know that Thomas Edison invented...

I can stand hypocrisy, I can even weather morons, but I get a little weak in the knees from the pious nature in which he displayed his ignorance while touting his direction of unwavering North on his moral compas, after being here all of 10 minutes?

Everyone's a bit different. I don't mind ignorance, in almost all its forms. It's not intentional normally, they literally don't know better. And his first post is pretty....normal? It literally is "Has anyone bought this, it looks like a solid purchase?" Go take a look again at his first post.

But of course new people that come in, when jumped on for not knowing better, aren't going to respond super well.

And we reply with:
"you are a thin skinned cheapskate thief that wants this community to co-sign your bullshit character flaws"
along with:
"What a dumbass comment.
You are clearly an ass"

I mean I write dumb, deameaning shit from time to time, but at least I feel like I usually know the person pretty well or have met them before.

So yeah, I'll take ignorance over toxic jackwagon culture anyday. The former can be educated, the later a bit more stuck in their jackwagoney ways.

I don't get what you doing here, brpros offers nice chip on a really fair price. I don't expect any other can provide quality chips on price below them. They also offer customs too. I highly encourage you take samples, browse around before making decisions. But you are the one responsible for your own actions.
