What type of birdcage would you want?

I know the visibility isn't quite the same, but I bought a Pelican 1520, and I'll never have to fill the chip-carrying need again. I've never seen anything more durable and effective at protecting/securing chips...

Considering the prices I'm getting quoted, it might be more worth it to buy the plastico cases which are already fabricated and guaranteed unbreakable. Prices are close.

From Bank supply they let you buy the base only so you could use your existing top to save some $. Base looks indestructible.

....and they appear to have sold out... :(

Just when I was going there to buy two more.

Don't laugh. I picked mine up from Discount Casino Gear. 1k chip model and they've both been at full capacity. Work like a charm.

If the quotes come in at a decent price, I'm also going to explore getting different sizes, probly 300 capacity to 1200 capacity. I have a set of 1200 roulettes that I would like to carry around in a birdcage but they just won't fit, the carrier is about 3/4" too short.

I had a phone conversation with unique when I bought some of their 4200 racks. I asked bob and Kathy about carriers when I called. They said that they have very high quality 6,8,10 and 12 rack carriers. 6-$115, 8-$125, 10-$135, and 12-$145. They emailed me part of a page from their catalog.

Nothing new. The prices per birdcage are as listed above. Quite pricey but I can order them for anyone if they want.

I'm exploring the option of using poly carbonate instead.

I stand by the quality of the heavy duty bird cage carriers sold here. They're in stock and very well constructed.
There are no screws holding the bottom on to break or scratch your table. It's a one piece design made from Polycarbonate with nice edge guards. (y)

From earlier in the thread though, it appears they're sold out.
