Hey everyone!

All my friends call me Eno (never really figured that one out lol) and I have been lurking for roughly three months just seeing what the overall vibe of this community is and I have been spending a lot of time checking things out so I figured it was time to join!

Originally from Nova Scotia I relocated across the country in 2014 to pursue greater opportunities. Prior to my move I was hosting and playing quite regularly. Considering I was basically starting over and relocation was going to be expensive I sold most of my belongings which included my table and chips. About two years ago I had started to play again with friends and I have been getting the itch to start hosting again.

I have been fiddling around with the CPC chip designer for about 4 months which has been a lot of fun. I thought for sure I was going to go with a custom set until I stumbled onto this site and I have fallen in love with so many different sets (Jack Detroit especially).

Looking forward to seeing where this takes me,

Welcome, Eno!

Seems like there's a few Albertans on here - I'm from Edmonton originally and spend a fair bit of time in Cowtown whenever we're back home in Canada visiting friends and family.

Lots of great options out there, whether it's CPC, Paulson or whatever. Get samples, enjoy the journey and say goodbye to your hard-earned money! :ROFLMAO:

Hey! Appreciate the welcome and it's always great to hear from fellow "hosers".

Can't say I have spent too much time in Edmonton other than a few visits for work but I enjoyed it while I was there.

Thanks for the advice on samples I will definitely be adding them to the top of my to do list. From all my lurking I have become well aware of the fact that I will be saying goodbye to some of my "hard-earned" money. :ROFLMAO:

Welcome to the forum! Enjoy the ride, ask for help if needed and let us participate in your journey :)

Welcome to the site. I'm in YYC as well. If you want to take a look at a CPC set, or want a colour sample set to borrow, let me know.

Hello and welcome!

Perhaps it's because you give all your friends heartburn ?
Ha! That's one reference that never crossed my mind. I Usually get something that revolves around Brian Eno.

Thanks for the offer! I might have to take you up on that when I get close to making a decision. The one thing I worry about with the chip designer is how the colours actually turn out so seeing them first would probably ease my mind.

Not a problem. I've a full set so you can see certain combinations together and edge spot choices as well as my colored sample set.

You can check out my set by searching for "the suited kingdom" I've a thread with pictures.

Welcome to the site! It's a good time to be looking for mint casino chips, there are a lot of options available.

Eno the Novie, welcome aboard.
Thanks! We used to make our way over to Boston every summer with a group of the guys. Wonderful city for sure.

Yah I have really come to realize that. When I first started visiting the site I couldn’t believe what was out there. I’m going to have a lot of fun putting something together

Don't get me wrong. When I was a kid I did everything I could to sound like Bob and Doug.
As I got older it amazed me how many people assumed we all sound like that.
And when my friends and I get together for poker (please let it be soon) I am sure we will talk like the McKenzie brothers again.

My east coast accent has all but left me at this point after moving out here. Only when I get upset or have bit too much to drink does it really start to come out and then I never hear the end of it.
