Welcome fellow up-norther! What river or lake system do you live by? That is the only way I navigate north of Bay City...

Yah for the price and design it was hard to pass up. I got the monicos from discount poker and the casino royals from thepokerstore. Overall good experience and the guys (and gals) that attend the home games have enjoyed the upgrade.
Any sets you got your eye on? Ceramics? China clays?
I tried old school road maps and then google maps. Always got lost.
I went back to reading the rivers and hills when I’m up there. I actually park my car in Saginaw at a park and ride. Then I portage my canoe 20 miles until I reach the Saginaw Bay. Then I paddle, up river, until I reach Lupton…
The area you live in is sick. Tons of rivers and lakes. Plus the west side has a little more going on compared to the east side.

Same here. Used both vendors and they've been great!
I got a bunch of samples from Apache and thepokerstore. I like the Mirages and The Dunes (Apache) along with a few dealer buttons and the Rustic Ceramics fron the Pokerstore. Havent pulled the trigger on any yet

Honestly the housing market is crap up here, your looking at 60 year old fixer uppers for $200k plus with no lake access. Wait for a correction, I'll probably move farther south before it even does

We have a place in St. Helen Michigan, kinda northern-mid. I have seen many more houses than usual on my zillow feed, and it seems like they usually have a price decrease after a few weeks. We are not in as expensive an area as OP for sure, but it sort of feels like demand is dropping. It probably peaked around 2022 if I had to guess.

Know many yoopers, even lived in the UP. Never have heard one refer to the UP specifically as northern Michigan (maybe the entire region). Closest I've heard to that is stating "up north" when asked where they live.
