New around here grateful for the treasure trove of info on this forum but I'm worried I have a new addiction...Catch me at the next group buy those sunset beach chips are sweet. Currently building a custom lighted rail table to surprise my friends labor day weekend for our first .25/.25 game. My poker story is I was taught to play from a very early but my childhood friends have always played together since high school for $10 or $20. As of recent poker has been the one good excuse to get everyone together every now and then when visiting home. Its been like the good old days again most laughs I've ever had have always been our social poker nights. We seem to prefer it to going out recently and to be honest gambling away at home is far cheaper and more enjoyable then going out by us. I usually throw a dinner provide drinks then we play.
Anyone else find as they get older its harder and harder to get your friends together? Trying to trap them with this new table if the booze and food wasn't enough encouragement.
