What else do you got questions on
Thank you. Nothing else comes to mind at the moment. But I won't be afraid to ask -- everyone here seems very friendly :-)

Welcome to the forum. You're right, lots of helpful people who are willing to help out newcomers. One big thing before take the plunge into any large set is to get lots of different samples!

Thanks for the definitions and link to glossary -- now I know what a frac is :-) I had thought it just meant a fraction of a barrel or rack.

Anyhow, one more "new guy" question... does anyone else use uBlock Origin as their AdBlocker? I use it in Firefox and I have whitelisted www.pokerchipforum.com (double and triple checked) but it continues to put a big red banner at the top of my page asking me to whitelist the site. Not sure if it's a bug in the way the site detects an Adblocker or what. I searched the forum for the term "uBlock" but didn't find anything. If anyone else uses that particular extension please let me know if you had that problem (and if you found a solution).

Because a lot of us live on this site we give money to be a supporting member so we don't get ads. @Tommy the owner really don't want us using adblockers as it's how he can keep this awesome site working.

I completely understand and that's exactly why I whitelisted the site -- ie. I wanted to allow the ads in order to support the site (not because of the banner). Before posting this, I had already considered simply paying for the supporting membership, however if there's a bug in the way the site is detecting my AdBlocker then I'm concerned that the banner will persist (it really should already recognize that it's whitelisted). My plan was to initially whitelist the site to support it, and then if I found myself using the site a lot (which I most likely will) then pay for a membership.

I tested it in Chrome and FireFox with adblock and it seems to be working OK here with just a page refresh.

Fixed it. It wasn't the AdBlocker extension after all. Apparently Firefox has a built-in tracking protection setting that I must have enabled long ago. The banner message was saying "AdBlocker detected" which was just misleading me into thinking it was my actual AdBlocker (made sense). I'm seeing the ads now. However, after all that I'm going to sign up as a supporting member because I'd rather support you that way. I just had to get to the bottom it. I work in IT, so it was really bugging me that I couldn't figure that out.
