Prostitution is the most valuable social service ever, and sex workers should be considered Priestesses / Priests, just like in ancient Greece, and protected accordingly.
Prostitution has kept the Youth sane and marriages stable for millennia.
Societies and Polities which outlaw prostitution rather than the evil exploitation of it (pimping, human trafficking) are plain totalitarian, IMHO.
Nothing wrong about a married man (or woman) paying for sex without emotional connection (and hence, emotional disconnection from the spouse).
