Agree totally. I thought you nailed it with the left chip in post #20. Simple, clear, with large denom -- perfect for a tourney set.
Everything else in my mind has just been needless clutter, no offense intended. I get the trees/mill reference, but not mountains. A river would make more sense to me, but still not necessary.

@Cratty's blade sawtooth effect circling the inlay is a brilliant yet subtle design element (top chip in post #14). I'd go with a common gray colored blade on all chips, and extend it out to half-way into the debossed web area. It will print well, visually enlarge the appearance of the inlay image, tie into the theme, and provide a unique look only possible on a dye-sub ceramic canvas.
