I have looked through a couple of catalogs and can't find this mold. They look like old clay chips but hard to really be sure.

I think I found out.... Small Greek Key? I guess my next question is are they clay? They are listed on an online auction and just trying to figure out if they are worth the asking price. Just looking for a few solid black chips to add to a collection of roman mold chips. THANKS

It's the "Small Key" sometimes referred to as "Greek"

Most likely made by Burt Co (which became ASM, then today's CPC). Likely distributed/sold by B.C. Wills & Co, who bought unlabeled chips from Burt and then did custom hotstamps for customers. This chip appears to have been sold around 1937-1965, though I have my doubts on the earlier end of that range. *edit* these chips appear to have been made into the late 1970's, not sure where I got my original date range from. Perhaps later production runs were 'owned' by someone other than Wills.

There's plastic versions, china clays, and even TINA greek key molds now, though I don't think any of those versions are quite the same size as the clay one you show.

"Worth" about $1 per chip if in OK condition. If you're filling gaps in a set then of course they might be more valuable to you.

Spinetti's, an online seller of vintage chips and other poker supplies, has absolutely mint condition $1-denomination small greek key's for $1 each, albeit in a white/cream color. The story is they were made for Sahara casino in Reno, but weren't properly labeled, so couldn't be used, and thus sat in storage forever.
