You know my thoughts. The 212 works better. Either way, this is a killer set of chips. How much?

My vote goes to the 212 because other chips in this set already have 1/8 and 1/4 (in a way). It is kind of a bummer that they aren't two different colors, as all of the chips are 3 toned (body color, 2 edge spot colors). And with my vote in, I now like the Arizona Charlie's perhaps a little bit more due to the color scheme. Decisions, decisions. ......

Overall I prefer the 212 in your line up. Smashing chips.

FYI-the Charlie's might be hard to come by. They switched over to ceramic chips a few years ago, but they still have some of the Paulson versions on their tables. I would saw 1 out of 20, are Paulson. But the Paulsons that are left are pretty beat up.

I tried to harvest from Charlie's this spring, but it just didn't work out. There was only one table going, and a wait list to sit at it. I watched and noticed that the chips were a mix of very worn THC and RHC chips (didn't notice any ceramics, which I actually though proceeded the Paulson chips according to the chip guide). Regardless, to try and harvest a few racks of decent THC ones given the single table and no way to easily remove the chips from the poker area, I decided to bail as I had limited harvesting/gambling time on that particular trip. Headed directly over to the Venetian where I played for a few hours, won about $500, and left with my winning in all $1 chips (literally).

I didn't know the poker room still had mostly Paulsons. The only game I've ever played there is craps. Most of the table games have mostly ceramics.

Well, by my calculations, if I can get him to bring them to the Chateau someday, it's a leisurely three day drive or 2221 miles of beautiful I-90.

Dude!!! (y)

Absolutely gorgeous!!! Well done man... Totally seemless set... How far of a drive for me to play with those? ;)

See above.

Thanks!

Maybe it would be easier to compromise and @bivey and I can meet in the middle at @ChaosRock's place (y)

@bentax1978 those turned out awesome! @Gear does great work obviously, but even beyond the design and execution of the inlay replacement, your chip choices were perfect. Really brings the set together.

@Gear did a great job with the labels, as always. Now I just have to find a block of time to finish the actual inlay replacements. I've done about half a rack of the $1 chips so far, but I still have another rack-and-a-half to go.

And then after that, I'll move on to the Aruba Palm Beach $1 inlay replacements (y) (4+ years in the making)
