I was about to ask the same thing!
They were never on sale. Jim found em at the bottom of the 100 buy in bag. I was shorted on the 100 buy in for the sale, so he replaced them with the 500's. I was able to find the 100's from another member 
Now I am going to try and host an annual tournament with a $500 buy in. lol, I will be playing solitaire! (n) :thumbsdown:

Solid, standard colored tournament chips have always been a dream of mine to own. i'm glad it's tax season, they're still available, and that my wife gave me the go ahead to get these

Very nice! What type of Gear labels did you go with? Matte or Glossy? Unlaminated or laminated? I just acquired some mint RHC solid's I plan to re-label as fracs.

HA! I wish. I had to buy them all from the secondary market. One rack and one barrel at a time. I didn't get any from the chip room. I was working the forums and PMs daily. So was bergs. HQ however... I think he's the one with the secret handshake, as he somehow acquired more than me and bergs combined without working the forums.

I will never get de-sensitized to the awesome chips my friend. I peek into my storage cabinet now and it fills me up with happiness... hah.
Honestly, when I see a set available with a lot of high denominations I get really itchy. My 500's are kind of like an equivalent 5's to most cash sets I see here (because of the currency difference), where you need 3-4 racks of. It's not easy to find high denom's in quantity with a reasonable price, mint, etc.
Your Ritz set is awesome... I looked at it for sure... for me just not enough of the high denom's. GLWS!
