Hot Dog Roller Pron (5 Viewers)

This makes me crack up everytime I see it!

Sooooop does anyone have any store bought egg rolls that they like & work well on the roller? I purchased and sampled some PF Changs mini chicken last night & they weren't very good. Maybe pork is better? Cook time & temp were the same as I use for my cheesesticks & hot dogs so that part I liked.

Yeah the trick is to cook them in an air fryer first so they get nice and crispy. Then just use the roller and a warmer more or less. If you put them on the roller frozen they're going to be soggy as if you'd microwaved them.

Same with cheesesticks... although they're not bad if you just throw them on the roller frozen.

Has anyone bought/used the Garvee hot dog rollers?

No, but it looks awesome. Is that an integrated bun warmer I see down below???
Yep, bun warmer drawer. What I don't know is if that drawer is too shallow. Looks like a really lower profile hot dog roller. The fact that's it's black is icing on the cake.

Joined the club yesterday. Delivery next week. Went for the bun warmer model. I think my crew will be excited.

How do you like the 7 roller model with the bun warmer? Any issues, does the size seem good? Also, do buns fit in the warmer without any problems? I'm guessing a Nathan's all beef frank might be longer than the hot dogs they use in marketing photos. Getting ready to purchase so
I appreciate any feedback.

It appears to be the same profile as mine, just without the wasted space of its lacking bun warmer.

There are all kinds of different brands...to me they all appear to be the same with a different sticker on them.

Your choices are:
- how many rollers, depth (between 7 and 11). 11 rollers with 3 across = 30 dogs at a time.
- width ... how many dogs you can fit on the roller, some have multiple warming zones (allows to differentiate between cooking vs warming)
- bun warmer or not. This adds quite a bit of height to the machine. The one I have has a separate control for the buns.
- glass cover or not (there is some grease spatter that ends up on the glass, that if you don't have that, will end up on the table or floor around the unit).
Does the bun warming drawer make the buns soggy or damp? If you bought a new model, would you get the bun warmer?

Warm buns are good. I use my bun warmer drawer to warm tortilla chips I put in coffee filters, works great for that! I usually do that instead of buns.
