Oh..... and is it technically possible to have an inlay on one side of a chip and a hot-stamp on the opposite side?
Technically impossible I'm afraid.

I have no idea what to do about the E&C. Last time we asked, the owner would not even speak to us about it.
Sorry David, but more questions. I have some dies @meatboy's. They have been made for handstamping machine. Can they be used in your equipment? I could send them to you for closer inspection at some point.
One more question:
Is it possible to take a hot stamp die designed with circular text (similar to your Classic Poker Chips example in the OP), and use it on a chip that has also been stamped with a centered numeric die?
In other words, stamp each chip twice per side -- once for the centered denomination, and once for the customized circular text?
Pulled out my scroll mold color sample set last night and started planning out a Hitching Post solid hot stamped tournament set. So stoked for this.
The hole is deep.I'm thinking about a sunset hot stamped set, lol. I don't even have my solids set yet (placing the order very soon though)
Just sent J5 an apologetic email asking him to put me in line for this as well. Is it bad when you have two completely separate custom set requests in at once?
Looks as though we will get good results on A-Crest, CSQ & HHR molds, although the available stamping area on HHR is small. Other molds (probably due to different clay densities caused at pressing) did not work well.
Yeah, my wife would be pissed he said HHR if she knew.It breaks my chipper's heart that scroll mold stamping isn't available; a hot stamped scroll mold chip started me down the rabbit hole and I don't think I could resist the opportunity. My wallet, however, is currently googling flights to Maine so that it can thank you in person.
I've hoped for this too. As soon as J5 can get the art done I'm getting in line at CPC.
Tourney set?
I even think that from a commercial point of view, the image of an eagle (it's just an example) would be more commercially successful than the sight of the lighthouse.
understandablyI'm fairly certain the lighthouse stamp was just an example, an advertising chip (which is part of their logo). It wasn't meant to suggest that the hotstamped chips they offer would have that logo on it. Unless I'm completely misunderstanding your posts.
