Well, I’m currently about six months in and all I can say is, “Whew, what a ride.”
Nothing outright spectacular to show, but I snapped a quick shot of my current cash sets while organizing/cleaning, and figured I’d share.
I'm preparing a home display area, but it's limited to 10 sets wide and 6 racks tall, so that’s what I loaded into these Apache cases. Each set shown actually hovers around 1k+ chips (except for those with gaps), all told accounting for about half of the Paulsons I own in total.
The gaps are placeholders for chips I’m semi-actively seeking. Aside from what’s shown, another 8k-ish Paulsons didn’t make it out: including some tournament sets, two limit sets, and countless random racks, stalled concepts, or forever projects. That puts me right at 18k Paulsons, most of which are THC and leaded.
While it's a far cry from many collections around here, I still feel I may have overdone it a bit considering when I joined in January I owned a BCC set and some ceramics.
I hope to trim down drastically at some point, but as many know, it’s tough to let them go once you have them, even as my tastes have changed.
Anyways, I hope to update this thread with more (and better) pics, but that requires both photography and posting -- two things that don’t come naturally. We’ll see.
I’m grateful to have met many of you virtually, and look forward to making a meetup someday soon.
