I need a 9" table topper... (1 Viewer)

I’m after an oval but their website says that for customised mats they only do oval mats in 60x35cm.
If my French is any better, I think they mean this only for round edges on a rectangle topper.

"Les bords en arrondis ne sont disponibles que dans la dimension 60x35cm en 2mm d'épaisseur."

Yeah, i'm pretty sure you can get a custom oval topper of any of their sizes.

Cool I was using google to translate. Hopefully they can help.

You could easily squeeze in 8 people around that, don't worry about it!

I agree with @Coyote's interpretation, though!

They might even be able to cut it to whichever dimensions you want, so make sure to ask.

If it gives me an excuse to revisit Hong Kong I might just do that. Loved it there!!
It ain't what it used to be. Packing up the fam and heading up to Tokyo to start the next chapter.

As for shipping from China, he'll ship globally but don't expect it tomorrow!

I’ve heard it’s gone a bit nuts. I was there 6 years ago.

"I need a 9" table topper..."

I've heard of micro-stakes, but this is ridiculous.

Anyone else read this in Groucho Marx’s voice?

... and regarding that exchange:
I know it's absolutely ridiculous, but in Manhattan square footage is hard to come by so me and my buddies play in my office and for insurance reasons we stick to the conference room. I could keep hauling out the 9" solid oak conference table and keep having to haul it right back a few hours later, or I can bite the bullet and get a comically oversized topper. The Barrington table we play on is mediocre enough that I don't feel bad saving it for the rare MTT or traveling game, a topper isn't that big a downgrade haha
@RudysNYC, I think he is referring to the ' vs " typo and not to the solution you're proposing.

Note to self: double check measurement notations, and don't go on PCF right when you get back from a father's day casino trip:whistle: :whistling:

Also check out @HMK's custom mat:
I think this might be the clear winner. Pricey, but probably the most reliable bet especially since I can customize the crap out of it. Thanks for the

There are several sites in Europe that offer these, and also offer customization. When I bought my two mats I went with this site because they had a hard to beat shipping (to Sweden) of 20€ for 2 mats of 140cm×140cm and 4mm thick, which must have been a losing proposition for them. They have since then "corrected" this mistake.
My point is that surely there must be similar webshops in the US? A transatlantic shipment won't be cheap.

Thanks for the
No problem, happy to

What thickness? Guessing 2mm? Or you got a really good deal, i paid 140ish euros for mine (200cmx100cmx4mm)

Wow. Definitely going with this guy. Will reach out for a quote in a bit, that sounds like I might be able to get this reasonably after all.
