Ideas...building a mixed Vegas set (2 Viewers)

Thanks Rowdy and @MaxB ...leaning toward NYNY now. I was specifically curious about how good the NYNY chips looked stacked so thanks for that reference.

Rowdy - are the GN 1's easily attainable? Do you mean on the secondary market or by harvesting? I have heard they are difficult to harvest now.
GN runs a 2-4 limit game as of the last to e I was there. Buy rack easy peasy. Unless they made a drastic change. They usually have 2 or 3 of 2-4 tables going with quite a few locals so I can't believe they woukd have got rid of those

Thanks so much for this info. I plan to harvest these as well...but didn't know it could be so easy ! I am planning to harvest aggressively this June but don't want to spend hours working at it (with the exception of Paris). I guess my overall strategy should just be to hit the limit games...

If anyone else has pointers like this re harvesting please drop the hints here or PM me...

So you want to relabel the expensive trop 100's as dollars ?? Use them as hundreds and find cheaper dollars, unless I misunderstand you ??

I should clarify. I won't relablel...I'm stupid bit I ain't dumb !!! :) I would never relabel these trops. My plan is to just use these trop hundos as dollar chips at the table. My crew has used black chips as dollars for ages...so everyone is accustom to that from years of using dice styled chips.

Just a heads up I'm 99% sure you'll get pulled to the side at the airport and your bag searched but I have gone through with up to 5 racks with and never had a problem other than they just wanted to check for sure not sure what you'll encounter at customs in Canada

I saw your post in the other thread where you brought tape and wrapped up chips with racks on both sides... I might do something similar.

My flight is Vegas to Bellingham so yeah I might get called to the side. I am not too worried about customs..I think I have that covered. Usually if you have something to claim they get distracted by that. I will bring some booze and cigars home and that will distract them enough they likely won't get involved with the chips unless they decide to search the car. Even if they do I don't really think chips are necessary to claim as they are representative of cash...Well see how goes. If all goes well I will have 2-3k worth of chips.

wow, that is expensive, but I like your style

Yeah I just bought a rack of Tropicana 100s and it was about 800 USD which is by far my most expensive rack ever...but fuck it...these are nice chips.

This is what I ended up with so far. 3 racks of Monte Carlo chips to be used as dimes, 1 rack of Caesers to be used as 1 dollar chips and some PCR NCV chips to be used as some sort of high denom. I am still interested in adding a rack of red 5s and perhaps some 20s or 25s to build up the bank a bit.

I will add some better pics later once they are in play. I might end up with some Sam's Town chips but not sure where those are at.

EDIT: I know PCR chips aren't Vegas but I just like them too much to sell. The edge spots and colours are just so sick.
