Hey all.
Late 20s from the Midwest here and a core group of my friends and I play NLH every other month or so. We just play home cash games and have never ventured to card rooms or casinos for poker. Just this past weekend we all decided to enter a charity tournament for an old coworker and my friend ended up winning the whole thing.
I have a feeling this is going to turbocharge our interest for the next few months. We have been using dice chips from the beginning, but now I'm thinking a nicer stock set or even a custom set would make us all happy.
From briefly looking around, I'm thinking of China clays from Apache for $0.49 or Tina customs (still trying to wrap my head around Tinas). I've seen some group buy posts here as well. Can I really get custom Tinas for less than $0.45 a chip?
Anyway, I look forward to going even deeper with all this thread has to offer. I'd appreciate any buying advice as well. Thanks!
