I bet those bands would work even on a stack of racks that vary in size (40mm stacked with 43mm).

Just remember to add an adapter to your order and you're home free!
Wish they were a touch tighter on 40mm racks but surprisingly still work very well.
Fit 43mm racks well and even stretch enough to band two racks together.
 
Did someone here suggest using a type of band (rubber band or hair band) to hold the trays together?
We keep our racks together by stacking more and more and more and more racks on top of each other. The rack on top is susceptible so that's why we buy more chips to stack on top of the top rack to protect it.

Ok but that doesn't help when stored on the side for transportation.
 
For me, I only use the Tina racks for transporting in an Apache case. I set them flat on top of the foam, high enough that the upper foam presses down. This way they don’t split apart. Otherwise I use standard racks and store the chips in a rolling tool cart.
